The treatment involves releasing precisely controlled short pulses of light to the target areas of concern. Resulting in a smoother texture of the skin creating a more even skin tone and younger, healthier looking skin. The skin rejuvenation treatment stimulates the fibroblasts cells responsible for secreting collagen and elastin improving the texture of the skin and reducing the appearance of lines, wrinkles and scars.

For sun damage, brown spots, age spots and pigmentation, the spots generally look darker for 3-7 days following the treatment. Crusting can occur, which may last up to ten days. The spots will then begin to clear which will leave a clearer more even skin tone. For thread Vein removal and rosacea, the skin may appear red after treatment followed by mild swelling lasting 24 hours to 3-5 days depending on the treatment area.

For each treatment a course of at least 3 sessions is required, purchasing a pricing plan is advised. Intervals will be established during the consultation and patch test but are usually 3-4 weeks apart. Although some improvement may be noticed after the first treatment for optimal results the course should be completed. In some cases, mainly pigmentation removal maintenance sessions will be required.

IPL HAIR REMOVAL
Hair removal is conducted over a course of 6 - 12 treatments 4 - 8 weeks apart and is available for both male and females. Due to the stages of hair growth, multiple treatments are required as the laser can only target hair in the growth stage.
Intense pulse light (IPL) is released in short bursts to the skin targeting the pigment in the hair follicle (melanin). The light energy heats the pigment which disables the follicle at the root. Because the light specifically targets dark pigment in the follicle the treatment is not effective on grey, white, blonde or red hair. The treatment is most suited to those with skin type 1 - 3 on the Fitzpatrick scale and darker hair. Permanent hair reduction can be a life changing procedure for many reasons.

Hormone imbalances such as PCOS can cause excessive hair growth. Although the treatment will significantly reduce the amount of hair present ongoing treatment may be required until hormone levels are rebalanced.
